European Radio Awards
With over 3,500 terrestrial radio stations and thousands more internet, community and satellite stations across Europe, the European Radio Awards showcases the best radio professionals across the continent.
The site allows radio stations to submit their entries to various categories set up in the database by uploading audio clips from there shows. Payment is processed onsite for their submission and the entries are recorded to a database where judges are then able to login and judge the category assigned to them using an Ajax voting system rate each entry. Within the admin view judges were able to view details, listen online or download the entry to their iPod.
As you can see from the photo of the awards ceremony in Barcelona the project was not only an industry first but a huge success!
