The Athena Programme is an award-winning company specialising in training and consultancy for the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, but with a difference! They use innovative techniques to convey their sessions in a creative and fun way.
They asked us to redesign their website to better reflect the company and what they’re about, and also to rank better on google for the training courses they provide.
Our Response
After sitting down with everyone at The Athena Programme to find out what they’re about and how they provide their training we gained a huge amount of information which would help us when designing the website. We didn’t want to just build any old website, our aim is to produce websites that work for our clients, fine tuning everything with their company and their goals in mind.
Once we knew what The Athena Programme needed, we began working on the design. We wanted it to reflect how they provide “different” training by using creative and innovate techniques.
The Result
The finished design is bright, clean, easy to use, and reflesslects exactly what The Athena Programme is, and they are very happy with it!
Because Soap Media don’t like to fall behind the times, we also used modern techniques when building the site, including CSS3 and embedded web fonts.
Content Management
We built The Athena Programme’s website on WordPress as its a cutting edge content management platform and no longer just a blogging tool. This has allowed us to make everything on the website editable, allowing the staff at The Athena Programme to keep the website up to date and fresh with content (Google likes this!).
They can also add recent case studies and change images and titles in any of the banners.
We also integrated their twitter feed to help them with their social networking.
