Howorth Air Technology operates within the global pharmaceutical, healthcare and wider industrial markets, providing world-leading contamination control products for over 150 years.
Having a large and varied catalogue of content ranging from extensive support documents to video, the brief was to plan out and implement a content management system to handle whatever was thrown at it.
Our Response
Our history and experience with WordPress meant we could use the platform as the basis for all the standard CMS aspects allowing the client’s budget to be focused on the more bespoke aspects of the site, saving on costs and freeing it from ongoing fees.
As the site has four levels of hierarchy and lots of varied content, it could easily have become unmanageable. To combat this we created complex templates that automatically generate leading pages and handle all the hierarchy allowing Howarth to focus on simply managing the content.
The Result
The site was deployed in 2009 and Howorth staff have steadily been adding content with no problems, no ongoing costs and no contractual commitments, all within budget and timescale.
