Senior Digital Marketing Account Manager

To be best equipped for this role, you’ll likely have 3+ years of experience managing holistic marketing strategies and deliverables within an agency environment. You’ll also be adept with direct contact and communication with senior management and decision-makers. This means you’ll be passionate and esteemed, with exceptional organisational skills to retain your control.

This role will support our Partnerships Director and Head of Media. You’ll soon get up to speed with the “Soap way” and have the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting, forward-thinking brands across the world. Our client turnover is extremely low, as we’ve delivered success by going the extra mile – we view clients more as partners, and they see us as extensions of their team, not external outsiders. The successful candidate will strike up productive relationships and understand how Soap are integral to delivering our partner’s visions.

As things stand, this role is remote, and we are open to that continuing. However, you may need to be available for occasional travel to our city-centre office in Preston (5 minutes walk from Preston train station and 10 minutes off the M6).

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead communications with existing clients.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Keep finger on the pulse to regularly propose opportunities.
  • Work closely with our Partnerships Director and Head of Media to onboard and execute new client strategies.
  • Take an ongoing responsibility for the activity and growth of the clients assigned to you.
  • Keep a fluid dialogue with senior management around the health of client relationships, including reporting on outcomes, successes and risks.
  • Maintain timely and effective response times.
  • Keeping abreast of developments within the digital marketing industry.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and service offering to readily tailor an optimal strategy to any scenario.
  • Attend key client meetings, offering strategic guidance and advice. Share insight with delivery teams to ensure objectives are met.
  • You will be creating strategies with some of the country’s best specialists. Whilst it is collaborative, take responsibility for the overall strategy on your accounts and the profitable retention and growth of our existing business.
  • Be the escalation point for the internal team tasked with executing your strategy.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience within a similar role in an agency environment.
  • Demonstrable examples of success within a similar role.
  • Strong, demonstrable understanding of omnichannel strategies and attribution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic and creative with the ability to think out the box.
  • Passionate, energetic, and proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
