Bartle Hall

Bartle Hall is a charming country hotel situated between Preston & Blackpool. Set in 16 acres of beautifully picturesque gardens, the historic building boasts luxurious function rooms, hotel suites and a relaxed dining area.

The Brief

Starting point

Already well established in the region as an esteemed venue for both weddings & business seminars. As well as providing an everyday dining experience and 14 hotel rooms. Bartle Hall wanted to refresh their current website, and focus on targeting specific demographics for their core services.

We suggested that in order to target the types of people they wanted to, they should create a website that split their services into four sub-brands. Hotel, Weddings, Business and Dining. The outcome was a visually rich highly intuitive redesign. Utilising the new brand structure Soap provided a luxurious colour scheme to accompany each sub-brand. These brands could be accessed easily via the tabs at the top of the site.

The site experience was at the forefront of our approach. Each sub brand homepage was adapted to suit each target audience. It was accompanied by engaging imagery and language. Along with real customer accounts and experiences, to add a personable touch.

The site was developed on WordPress, allowing the Bartle Hall team to change content and images with relative ease. With menus and offers changing seasonally, it was important Bartle Hall could utilise their new website as the powerful marketing tool it was designed to be. The website also features unique call to actions areas tailored to each sub-section. Allowing Bartle Hall to keep their messaging fresh and pertinent.

Mobile Website

As with every project, the mobile experience is just as important if not more important than the desktop site. We spent time designing a mobile interface that felt natural, and was just as visually exciting as the full width experience.
