Lancashire Business View recognised it needed a website which truly reflected its brand values whilst engaging the brand with its target audience.
The website needed to be the continuous heartbeat of the printed magazine and an effective sales tool. Ater tendering for this project, we were chosen for our expertise, in particular our in-depth understanding of web technology which enables us to design and develop websites which meet the media outlet's objectives.
This understanding goes much further than the look and feel of the site, and is about producing web solutions that deliver the on-going business results required by the client, on a fully content-managed platform.
An integral part of the redesign and development of the Lancashire Business View site involved creating the means for a 2-way dialogue between the magazine and the target audience. This was achieved through LBV Hub which allows the magazine’s subscribers to fully participate in the editorial process and content creation for the magazine, including submitting their own events, listings and news items. The result is a true community website created from our cutting edge web design and development.
The site has full e-commerce integration and back office for processing orders so sales objectives can now be realised. It's also fully content managed, providing Lancashire Business View the control of day-to-day updates and back office functions. The site is a cost effective solution built on open source with no tie in to onerous support from a bespoke platform. It gives them the flexibility, freedom, and control required for a modern business.
By using the very latest responsive design technology, the site reflects the modern user and upcoming trends. As a result, this future-proofing of the site for maximises overall engagement and the user experience.
The brand values and identity of Lancashire Business View have been advanced and extremely positive feedback was received from all relevant parties; sign-ups of user accounts has far exceeded expectations.
